Multi-effect evaporator

The multi-effect falling film evaporator and the forced circulation evaporator use the falling film evaporation principle to heat and boil .It vaporize part of the water to achieve the purpose of concentrating the solution. This unit adopts continuous production process. It has the advantages of large concentration ratio (1 / 5-1 / 10), wide viscosity range (<400CP), good heat transfer effect, large processing capacity, etc. It is suitable for evaporation about thermal sensitivity,high concentration, high viscosity and corrosive materials, it is used in the starch industry such the concentration of corn syrup and starch sugar, and the dairy industry such fruit juice , MSG ,milk,and the sugar alcohol industry such sugar juice , alcohol and lees filtration .

The evaporation unit consists of more than two evaporators, heat pumps, input and output pumps of various effects, vacuum devices, detection instruments, pipes and valves. The heating chamber is mainly composed of a shell, tube bundles distribution device and piping, and the vapor-liquid separation chamber is mainly composed of a shell and a catcher.

(1)   The unit can adopt the continuous feed method of the downstream

flow, and can also adopt method of the counter flow or mixed flow feeding.

(2) The steam jet heat pump increases the saturation temperature of part of the first-effect secondary steam by means of adiabatic compression, and then returns to the first-effect heating chamber as heating steam, thereby improving the economy of raw steam.

(3) The static distribution plate makes the material uniformly and effectively form a film flow on the inner wall of the tube after entering the feeding tube from the top of the heating chamber, thus greatly improving the heat transfer coefficient, and the temperature loss is negligible which is caused by the static pressure head of the liquid column, so the effective temperature difference of the film evaporator decreases under the same conditions.

(4) The residence time of the solution is short in the evaporator, so it is especially suitable for the evaporation of heat-sensitive materials.

If it is a single-effect evaporator, in the case of evaporating water, usually 1Kg / hr of raw steam can evaporate water about 1Kg / hr.

If the steam generated by the primary energy is used as the heating steam for the second effect, the energy efficiency of the entire system will drop by 50%. Similarly, the aftereffect will save more energy.
