Oxidized Starch

Oxidized starch is a kind of modified starch obtained by oxidizing starch in acid, alkali and neutral medium with oxidizing agent. Oxidized starch reduces the gelatinization temperature of starch, reduces the viscosity of thermal paste and increases the thermal stability. The product has white color, transparent paste, good film-forming property and good freeze-thaw resistance. It is widely used in textile, paper, food and fine chemical industries .

二、Process Description

1. Add appropriate amount of starch to a certain concentration of starch milk.

2. Transfer the starch milk to the reaction tank, add an appropriate amount of oxidant, oxidize the reaction under acidic or alkaline conditions, and adjust the pH stably to the required level.

3. Add reducing agent to neutralize the remaining oxidant, and then wash to remove soluble impurities.

4. After centrifugal separation, dehydration, airflow drying and drying to the required moisture product, after vibration screening, weigh and package into the warehouse.
